As part of our school focus on Science, Design and Technology this year we took part in an Architecture workshop. We learnt made about shape and structures and used this knowledge to create some amazing structures in our classes.
Will it Fizz, Pop, Bang, Bubble? We had an exciting second science day exploring lots of different chemical reactions. We blew bubbles, made our own bubble makers, made balloon rockets, lauched air rockets, asked questions about changing chemical reactions, made mini rockets and launchers and really got excited about science!
Our Dragons week, linking together art, music, dance and literacy has got off to a great start. The children arrived at school on Monday to find a nest and large footprints. They have made a start of their 3D artistic designs and things are beginning to take shape. Can you guess what they will turn out to be?
The Community Christmas Party is a great way to say thank you to all the friends, neighbours, PTA member and Governors amongst others that help and support our school over the year. Year 6 did a great job at serving refreshments, entertaining guests and the choir performed brilliantly! Well done everyone.
Year 1 and 2 are studying a Coastal Explorers theme this term, as part of this they visited the Golden Hind at Brixham to help them learn about the explorer Sir Francis Drake. The children had a great time, they enjoyed exploring the boat and learnt some super facts to help them with their learning.
